student health and campus telehealth

A Happier, Healthier Student Community

Data from current use of telemedicine shows that patients are highly satisfied with their interactions. A popular telemedicine app called Teladoc quotes a “net promoter score” of 74 points. To compare, Kaiser Permanente was ranked #1 in brick-and-mortar health care with a score of 31 points in 2015.
Our target population: emerging adults right at home with technology and digital relationships.
It is said that over 80% of diagnoses are made on history alone, a further 5-10% on examination and the remainder on investigation.* While many successful telemedicine companies provide quality care without it, BeWell plans to have a nurse present with the patient to assist in examination and simple laboratory testing, such as urinalysis, Strep testing, etc.
In addition, there is a plethora of remote devices that can gather data from the patient, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, high-definition photography of eye, ear and throat, and digital audio of heart, lungs and abdomen.
